How it works
1. Start a Match
Open the app and click Menu to choose your game mode ("vs Text2" or "2 Players"). If playing against AI, select your preferred difficulty to instantly begin a new game.
2. Make Your Move
Tap the piece you want to move. All possible legal destinations will be highlighted with sleek indicators. Tap a highlighted square to complete the move and watch the pieces slide smoothly into place.
3. Take It Back
Made a blunder? We've all been there. In PvAI mode, simply hit the Undo button at the bottom of the screen to take back your last move and reconsider your strategy.
4. Check & Capture
Watch the board react to your moves. A capture triggers a visual shockwave effect and heavy haptic feedback, while placing the opponent's King in check causes it to shake vigorously, ensuring you never miss a critical game state.
Pro Tip:
The Hard AI difficulty utilizes a depth-3 Minimax algorithm that calculates multiple moves ahead to evaluate board positions. If you're new to chess, start on Easy or Medium (depth-2) to get a feel for the game before challenging the grandmaster level!
