How to Use Text2 Task: Step-by-Step Guide
1. Create and Organize Your Projects
Upon launching Text2 Task, you arrive at the Projects Directory. Click the + button (or press N / P) to create a new project space:
- Project Name: Give your project a clear purpose (e.g., "Work", "Study", "Sprint 42", "Personal").
- Color Palette: Select one of the 8 signature vibrant themes for instant visual recognition.
- Card Overview: Each project card displays the active task count, completed count, and an auto-updating progress bar.
2. Fast Task Creation with Quick Add
Tap on any project card to open its dedicated task view. Adding to-dos is instantaneous:
- Type directly into the "Add a new task (press Enter)..." bar at the top and hit Enter.
- Press Q anywhere on desktop to immediately focus the Quick Add input without touching your mouse.
- Newly added items automatically appear at the top of your list so you never lose momentum.
3. Direct Inline Editing
Forget clunky popups for simple text tweaks. In Text2 Task, clicking the title of any task (or pressing Enter on a highlighted task) transforms it into an inline editable field.
Make your modifications, press Enter or click away to save immediately to IndexedDB. If you change your mind, hit Esc to discard edits.
